The time Charles Barkley wrote ass on his shoes

To the best of our knowledge, this is how it all went down:

November 6, 2014: Charles Barkley states he won't eat another meal until the Lakers win:
November 10, 2014: The Lakers beat the Hornets.

November 10, 2014: Ed Davis does a Tweet:
November 11, 2014: Charles writes a$$ on his shoes:

Who Shot It Better? Kemba Walker vs Charles Barkley

In his final game as a Charlotte Bobcat, Kemba Walker went glass to himself from a step inside the three point line. He was able to finish in traffic much to the delight of those in attendance.

While Tracy McGrady will forever own this move, Charles Barkley may have claim to the longest in-game self-oop in league history. Moses wasn't open...

In addition, it wouldn't be right of us to ignore the 2014 NBA Sixth Man of the Year who has pulled this one out a number of times during his career.

Jersey of the Week: Scottie Pippen Stefanel (1991)

The Stefanel Trieste jersey attained cult status after footage emerged of Michael Jordan sporting one while shattering a backboard in Italy during a tour in 1985.
His future Dream Team teammates, Pippen, Barkley and Robinson would show up in Ital' sei anni dopo for an exhibition game between Trieste and Verona.
The Trieste jersey worn by Pippen during that game is bland in comparison to the one Mike wore, and quite frankly, we prefer Barkley's canary yellow ensemble.
However, it is it's likeness to the shirt Gerald wore every single day on Hey Arnold that has rightfully earned it jersey of the week honors.

It is on sale now here.

Charles Barkley wrestles Rick Mahorn (1990)

First we gave you Charles Barkley and Rick Mahorn vs Manute Bol.

Now, for your viewing pleasure, Charles Barkley turning on his tag team partner Rick Mahorn during training.

It's approximately 17 times better than when Karl Malone and Dennis Rodman messed around in the WCW

It even comes close to rivalling the greatest match of all-time.

Full credit to Mike and Dave who captured this footage.

Manute Bol, Rick Mahorn and Sir Charles in a 76ers handicap match

Reminiscent of the time Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho put Stone Cold Steve Austin in the Crippler Crossface and Walls of Jericho at the same time, Rick Mahorn and Charles Barkley attack Manute Bol from both ends - circa 1990-something.

Judging from this footage of Mahorn wrapping up Mike by the ears and Charles taking down Shaq at the knees, we'd argue they should swap places to inflict maximum damage.

(Shout out to Hershey Hawkins laughing in the background, which is exactly what we did when we saw this.)

Card of the Week: Charles Barkley from Michael Jordan's Flight Team

The original Upper Deck Flight Team set had all the big name dunkers of the era plus some of the lesser known high flyers whose antics still remain close to our heart.

This set was released immediately following Charles Barkley's best season. Both Charles (MVP) and the Suns (Western Conference Champions) were very impressive that year and the outcome in the Finals may have been a little different had Cedric Ceballos stayed healthy.
