Robert Horry dunks on Scottie Pippen

Robert Horry is best remembered for being the Professor In Charge of Clutch Field Goals from 1992 through to 2008.

However, before he was knocking down heart breaking threes, he was a high flyer out of Alabama who spent much of his early years dunking on dudes or throwing their shots back.

And then there was the time he sort of dunked on Pippen.

Big Shot Rob

On this day, Robert Horry hit 6 threes to help the eighth-seeded Houston Rockets past the San Antonio Spurs and back to the NBA Finals. Hakeem's 39 and 17 was also was a factor...

Who Dunked It Better? Butler vs Horry

Things that we like: Old dudes in the Playoffs, dunking.

At age 34, Caron Butler had an impressive throw down last night against the Griz.

Though no where near as critical, it did remind us a little of Robert Horry's lefty dunk in the final minutes of  Game 5 of the 2005 Finals. For completeness, Horry was also 34 at the time.
